President's Conference Room Instructions

If not plugged in already, plug the cables from the Mercury to the ports on the 

conference table.

Each cable is labeled per their own port on the table.

The Mercury will only work with the ports on the conference table furthest from

the screen.

Presentations

Press Present to present from a laptop source (non Video conferencing).

Home Screen:

 

 

Once you you push the Present Icon the next screen below will show up. Choose which way you want to present. 

HDMI

If using HDMI Push the HDMI Icon.

 

Plug in the HDMI cable to the laptop. The TV monitor should power on automatically.

Press Stop to stop presenting to the monitor.

 

Wireless Presentations:

Press AirMedia icon

Follow the on screen instructions for presenting wirelessly through the AirMedia app.

The AirMedia app is on the president's conference room laptop. For other laptops the app will need to be down loaded. ( From App store or Google play)

Conference Call:

The Mercury can make and receive Point to Point calls, but not multi-point conference calls. 

NOTE: To do Multi point conference calls use ZOOM, SKYPE or GOOGLE MEETS. Be sure these programs are loaded onto the computer.

AUDIO only call 

 Push the Audio icon. This is for phone/ voice calling only.

Dial in phone number using keypad on touch screen.

Push the green phone icon 

to enter dialed phone number and to hang up phone call

 

Use up arrow

to return to home screen.

Bluetooth

Note Audio only

Use a cell phone to connect to the Mercury device and call from your phone.

Push the Blue tooth Icon 

 

On your mobile device locate your bluetooth setting be sure your devices bluetooth is on and search for AVF23328.

Connect your mobile device and call using your phone.

Video Conference Calls

Plug in the USB cable into the laptop.

Plug in the HDMI Cable into the laptop.

Push the USB Icon on the touch screen.

This screen will show up. Be sue all the direction on screen are followed.

Use Zoom, google hangouts, Skype or any other video conference software you would like.

Audio hook up.

Be sure the audio on the laptop is set to the correct setting go to the lower right task bar on the computer and right click on the speaker icon..

Select ECHO CANCELLING SPEAKERPHONE (Crestron Mercury)

For zoom there are two locations to check to be sure this is set like the one above and the other is through zoom itself.

When in zoom be sure to go to the mic icon

click on the arrow next to the mic icon

in the zoom program

Be sure under Select a Microphone that Eco Cancelling Speakerphone (Crestron Mercury) is checked 

and

Be sure under Select a speaker Echo Cancelling Speakerphone (Creston Mercury) is Checked

Camera for video conferencing 

For the camera there are two chooses (Can only use one camera)

1) Camera 1 on the laptop. (Intergrated Webcam)

2) Camera 2 under TV (UVC) (PTZ camera) (Pan tilt zoom camera)

Do not click on or use Huddly go.

3) Use remote to control camera

 

Mute on system

When you see this icon it means muted. 

If you see this icon mean unmuted / live /mic on 

There are a few ways you can mute mics on the system

1) You can Mute through the program (Example zoom has a mute feature in the program.)

2) You can mute through the Crestron Mercury system. 

Click on the mic Icon on the top of the Crestron touch screen.

 

 

3) You can click on the touch screen in the lower right on the mic icon and mute the mic this way as well.

4) table top mics and speakers

Volume control

Use Volume control on Laptop or on crestron to rise or lower volume.

Shut down

Be sure to log off any acount being used and be sure to power down all equipement once finished.
