Connect laptop with NVIDIA card to projector

Body

  • Connect the laptop to the VGA cable on the podium.
  • Select the appropriate input to display the computer, which is usually Computer 1.
  • Connect the laptop to the VGA cable on the podium.
  • Select the appropriate input to display the computer,(usually Computer 1) 
  • Right click on the desktop* and select *NVIDIA Control Panel*

 

  • A window will pop up and on the left hand side menu, under *Display* select *Run multiple display wizard*


  • When the setup is done, close the window by clicking *Finish* on the window.


  • Another window will pop up which is the *NVIDIA multi-display setup wizard* and follow the instructions. 
  • DO NOT change the selection from *Typical setup(recommended)* to *Custom setup*


  • Go back to *NVIDIA control panel* and under *Display* select * Set up multiple displays*
  • When the tab is open in 1st step of that tab *Choose the nView display mode to use.* select the second option *The same on both displays (Clone)
  • Once selected, apply the settings by clicking * Apply* on the bottom of the NVIDIA control panel window.
  • Another window will pop up asking to confirm the changes and select *Yes* the window will stay open for 15 seconds and if not confirmed it will go back to its previous setting.
