Northeastern Illinois University offers faculty, staff, and students to have access to Adobe Acrobat Express applications.
Note: If you are taking a class that requires Adobe Creative Cloud apps, please contact your instructor who should provide the student name and request to the IT Service Desk.
Faculty & Staff not needing Adobe Creative Cloud. There is a lighter version of the tool available that is called Adobe Studio License (Limited Availability) If you would like to access Adobe Studio, please contact the IT Service desk
To obtain a license to install these apps on your computer, please follow the steps below.

Adobe website will open in your default browser, click on Continue with Google.
Enter your NEIU email address in the following format:
username@neiu.edu
An NEIU page will appear. Enter your NEIU username and password.
Employees will need to also authenticate using Duo Security.
Students will need to also authenticate using the 2-step verification of the Google Account.
On the following page, select the Company or school Account.
If this is your first time getting the license, your web browser will open a new page Installation Acrobat term or VIP license.

This website will provide you instructions on how to install the Adobe Acrobat Enterprise term or VIP License on your computer (Windows or Mac).
If you wish to go directly to your Adobe Apps, click on the App switcher beside the profile, and click All Apps.

For Student:
Students who have classes that requires more Adobe apps will automatically have access to Adobe Creative Cloud Suite. If you do not have access to an App you needed, please reach out to your professor.
For Staff/Faculty:
Faculty teaching courses that require Adobe Creative Cloud can request priority access for their classes. For all inquiries, please submit a ticket your inquiry with justification for further review.
How do I access Adobe Acrobat Express after I register?
Once registered, you can revisit your account in the future by signing in via https://www.adobe.comand always using the "Continue with Google" option to sign-in.
After going through the steps, I download an Adobe installer but the computer does not allow me to install it.
If you are attempting to install an Adobe app on your home computer, your computer user account needs to have administrator rights.
If you are on your NEIU Windows PC and do not have administrator rights, please submit a ticket to IT Service Desk
If you are on your NEIU Mac and you do not have administrator rights, you can install the Adobe CC apps by going to the Self-Service App —> Catalog —> Multimedia
