Media systems instructions
- Please touch the Crestron touch screen.
Welcome Screen will appear.
2. Touch the Welcome screen anywhere.
3. Selection screen will appear.
4. Select which Device you would like to use or control.
Projector
Use the Projector remote to switch input to HDMI. DO NOT USE REMOTE TO TURN OFF PROJECTOR USE CRESTRON TOUCH SCREEN TO TURN OFF PROJECTOR.
TV
Be sure the TV input is on PC. DO NOT USE REMOTE TO TURN OFF TV USE RESTRON TOUCH SCREEN TO TURN OFF TV.
Select
- Make sure the Monitor for the PC is ON.
- Make sure the PC is powered ON.
- Push the PC Icon on the Crestron screen.
- Plug the HDMI cable into your laptop.
- For wired internet connection plug in the Ethernet cable into your laptop.
3. Push the Laptop HDMI Icon on the Crestron touch screen.
4. Turn on your laptop.
- Connect the VGA cable to your laptop.
- Connect the mini audio cable to your laptops headphone jack.
- For Wired internet connection plug in the Ethernet cable into your laptop.
- If you hook up to our wireless access please click on link General Wireless access. If you are try to connect to Unsecured wireless access click on this link Open wired access. We suggest this link.
4. Push the Laptop VGA Icon on the Crestron touch screen.
5. Turn on your laptop.
♦ When connecting a Laptop Please remember to mirror your image by either pressing FN + F8 or + P (Select Mirror image). If these options do not work you might have to go to Graphic display options and may need further help. If so contact us at the number below.
- Mac users click the Mac symbol choose System Preferences. Choose displays click arrangement tab. In lower left corner of the Arrangement panel select “Mirror displays”
NOTE: If you do not have VGA or HDMI you will need to get your own adapter. Click on the ADAPTERS link and you can see the different types of adaters that are available and will have to purchase.
IF you need help finding the adapter you need to please set up a meeting with us and we will be happy to help you find the adapter you need
- DVD
- Push the DVD icon on the Crestron touch screen. The DVD Deck should power up if not push the power button on the DVD Deck.
- Choose which Location you would like to show the image too.
- LCD (TV)
- Push this to show image on the TV.
- Option you can also mute the video by pushing the VIDEO MUTE LCD Icon
- PROJ (projector)
- Push this to show the image on the Projector.
- Option you can also mute the video by pushing the VIDEO MUTE LCD Icon
- Push the Open/Close button on the DVD Deck located in the Equipment Rack.
- Insert you DVD into the tray.
- Push the Open/Close button or gently push the tray.
- Use the Controls on the Crestron touch screen to control the DVD deck.
1. Turn power on Doc cam
2. Touch the Rack video icon on the crestron touch screen
Be sure that in ROOM BBH 329 on Crestron that the disable communication button is engaged on crestron touch screen.
- Push the Rack Video Icon on the Crestron touch panel. Be sure the Doc camera is turned off.
You can control the camera that is located in the ceiling of the room.
Use the arrow keys on the Crestron touch screen to move the camera into whatever position you would like.
Use the Zoom in and out to get a close or further image of the cameras view.
- Wireless mic
- Be sure the Wireless mic system is powered on. Located in the equipment Rack.
- Put on Ear set and point mic in towards mouth.
3. The Volume for the mic can be control with the + and – sign on the side of the Rack Video Screen on the Crestron touch panel.
4. There is also a MUTE button for just the MIC also located on the far left of the Rack Video Screen on the Crestron touch panel.
Please remember to UNMUTE mic when Mic is in use.
- Volume control
- Volume for any device being used can be controled by + and – buttons located on the lower screen of the Crestron touch screen.
- Power off (Always do this)
- Push the SHUT DOWN Icon on the lower right of the Crestron screen.
2, Push the YES icon to confirm shut down.
PLEASE SHUT DOWN THE PROJECTOR AND TV AT THE END OF CLASS!
- Please remember to turn off any equipment that you might have used.
