B 158 Media Systems Instructions (Crestron)

Podium Instructions

Push screen down button on control on wall behind Podium.

1) Touch screen to power up . White screen will come on.
2) Touch Welcome screen anywhere and selection menu will appear.

3) Select (To return to the select screen Push the Main icon on the bottom).

• PC (Desktop computer)

1.  On Crestron touch PC icon on screen.
2.  Make sure PC is powered on.

• VGA

1. Connect the VGA cable located on the podium to your laptop.

2. Connect mini audio cable to your headphone jack on your laptop.

3. Connect internet (Ethernet) cable to your laptop for wired internet access.

4. Power on Laptop

5. Push Laptop Icon on the Crestron touch screen.

• When connecting a Laptop Please remember to mirror your image by either pressing FN+F8 or  +P (Select Mirror image). If these options do not work you might have to go to Graphic display options and may need further help. If so contact us at the number below. 
• For Mac users: Mac users click the Mac symbol    choose System Preferences. Choose displays click arrangement tab. In lower left corner of the Arrangement panel select “Mirror displays”

 

NOTE: If you do not have a VGA port you will need to get your own adapter. Click on the ADAPTERS link and you can see the different types of adapters that are available and will have to purchase.

IF you need help finding the adapter you need to please set up a meeting with us and we will be happy to help you find the adapter you need

• DVD/VHS

1. Push DVD/VHS Icon on the Crestron touch screen
2.  If using DVD make sure DVD is selected by push the DVD/VCR mode Icon to select.
3.  If using VHS make sure VHS is selected by push the DVD/VCR mode Icon to select.
4.  Make sure power is on DVD/VHS unit.

• Document Camera.

1. Document Camera Push Doc camera Icon on Crestron touch screen.
2. Push Power Switch on Document Camera located on back of unit by grey cord. When finished please push the power switch on Document Camera located on back of unit by grey cord to turn OFF Document Camera.

If having Cut off image issues please try this.

If you are having cut off issues on the image from your laptop. On the remote located at the podium, use the auto button to get full image projected.

DO NOT USE ANY OTHER KEYS ON REMOTE. DO NOT USE REMOTE TO POWER DOWN PROJECTOR. USE THE CRESTRON TOUCH SCREEN TO POWER DOWN PROJECTOR.

• Volume control

1. Volume Control can be controlled from the Crestron on the bottom of the Crestron screen push the + button by the volume meter to increase and – to decrease volume. Make sure Mute is not on.

• Turn off equipment.

1. Please TURN OFF System at the end of class! Please turn off any other units used!
2. To turn off the System please Push the Shut Down Icon on the bottom of the Crestron touch screen. Please press YES to confirm for the system to shut down.

 

 

PLEASE SHUT DOWN THE PROJECTOR AT THE END OF CLASS!
