Hosting a Personal Audio Conference meeting

Overview

Your 10 digit personal Audio conference (PAC) meeting IDs are Static and can be shared with participants at any time. Please see Getting Started with Personal Audio Conference for Prerequisites, nots and information on enabling PAC on your account.

Prerequisites 

  • Pro, Business or Education account is required
  • Your account must have an audio conferencing plan
  • Personal Audio Conference must be enabled in your User Profile

Configuring your Personal Audio Conference

To view your PAC meeting IDs, the global dial in numbers and the auto-generated invitation text, login to your Zoom account on the web and click Personal Audio Conference.

Editing global dial in numbers

  1. Click Edit to the right of Global Dial In Numbers.
  2. Check any additional numbers you would like to include in the invitation.

      3. If you would like to include a link to a full international numbers available for your account on the meeting invitation, check Show international numbers link on the Invitation email.

      4. Click Save.

Adding a participant password and listen-only password

if you would like to add a password to your conference ID, you can add a 6-digit password. You also have the option to add a Listen only password, which will allow the participants who use the password to listen to your conference, but not speak. you need to set a participant password before you can set a listen only password.

Adding a participant password and listen only password

  1. Next to Participant Password, click Add.
  2. Enter your 6 digit password.
  3. Click Save.

To add a listen only password

  1. Click Add under Listen Only Password.
  2. Enter the 6-digit numerical password you would like to set for listen only participants.
  3. Click Save.

Copying the invitation

You can copy the auto-generated invitation for conference participants and sent it out to them via email. add it to a calendar invite, or share elsewhere. I you have set listen only password, you will also have the option to copy the invitation for listen only participants 

To copy the invitation

  1. ​​​​​​​Click Copy the Invitation for [Participants or Listen only Attendees] 
  2. Click Select All.
  3. Right click to copy or use Ctrl-c on a pc or linux or Cmd C on Mac.
  4. Paste the invitation where you would like to share it.
