Self Service on the Mac allows users to download and install various software, connect to NEIU online drives, and access other features and functions.
The Self Service app on macOS computers has been upgraded to Self Service+ (2025).
The Self Service+ app can be accessed either by launching from the Applications or by going to the menu bar.
To launch Self Service+, users can
- double-click on the app in the Applications folder.
- click on the Self Service+ icon in the menu bar and select Get Software.
In the sidebar, Home shows you featured content.
Bookmarks will open the webpage in your default web browser.
The Catalog lists available software sorted by category as well as featured content.
