F 109 Media System Instructions


To view any media device

  • Use grey remote to start projector  Push Power button on remote
    • Source Selection:
  • Desktop MAC Computer
    • Select Computer on grey remote
    • Laptop VGA and main computer cannot be shown simultaneously
    • If you wish to use laptop, connect it to the external cables provided

HDMI (guest laptop)

1. Push HDMI 1 time. This should be set to HDMI 1.

2. Connect the HDMI cable to your Laptop.

2, Turn on your laptop.

VGA Guest laptop

1. Push Computer on projector remote.

2. Connect the VGA cable to your laptop.

3. Connect the mini audio cable to your laptop.

4. Turn on the power onto your laptop.

5. Be sure you image in mirrored or duplicated.

Please remember to mirror your image by either pressing FN + F8 or  + P ( Select mirror or Duplicate image). If these options do not work you might have to go to Graphic display options and may need further help. If so please contact us at the number below.

Mac users click the Mac symbol  choose System Preferences. Choose displays click arrangement tab. In lower left corner of the Arrangement panel, select “Mirror displays”

6. Be sure the audio is routed through your headphone jack on your laptop.

DVD/VCR (Push HDMI 4 times to get to video input)

 

  • DVD/VCR
    • Select HDMI 4 times to get to Video input  on grey remote
    • Select format on black remote (attached to DVD player)
    • Use same remote for menu options, scanning and chapter selection
  • Volume control
    • Use turn knobs on audio mixer (installed in podium rack)
    • There is a main control and individual input controls
    • You can also adjust left/right and some EQ functions
    • All sounds will be amplified at all times.Changing input selection of projector will not change audio signal to speakers.

Please shut down projector at end of class

Push Enter to confirm shut down or power button again.
