BBH 210 Media systems Instructions

 

BBH 210 

If the extron touch screen is not on when you go to the podium touch the Extron touch screen.

Welcome screen will come up.

Tap the START icon on the touch screen.

Warm up screen will show up.

Next screen will look like this.

If laptop is not on, Newline cast will show on the Newline TV only.

If you turn on The main laptop or the Laptop is already on. The image of the Main laptop will show on both TVs.

HDMI GUEST CONNECTON

1. Plug in the HDMI cable into your laptop.

2. Turn on your laptop.

3. Auto switcher will automaticaly switch input to Guest HDMI connection.

Note When connecting a Laptop Please remember to mirror (DUPLICATE) your image by holding Windows + P and selecting Duplicate/Mirror image.

Mac users Click on Mac Symbol choose system Preferences. Choose displays click arrangement tab. In lower corner of the Arrangement panel select Mirror displays.

USB-C

1. Plug in the USB-C cable into your laptop.

2. Turn on your laptop.

3. Auto switcher will automaticaly switch input to Guest USB-C connection.

Trouble shooting: If the auto switcher does not switch input push the correct input to make switcher go to correct connection.

Doc Camera

NOTE: To use the Doc Camera you have to use the Main laptop to use the Doc camera.

1. Turn on the Doc camera

Image Mate program on Laptop (only goes to Newline TV and Main Laptop).

2. On main laptop click on the Image Mate program Icon.

3. Image will appear.

4. Use Program to control Doc cam.

ELMO Interactive tool box ( This program has more options and give you different viewing options).

2. On main laptop click on Image Mate program icon.

3. Choose Primary Monitor or Secondary Monitor

Primary = Newline TV + Laptop.

Secondary = Ceiling TV only.

4. Image will appear.

5. Use program to control Doc cam and image.

Camera system.

1. Be sue laptop is on. 

2. Log into your zoom account/ Google accout.

3. Tap on the Camera control.

4. Be sure on zoom the correct camera is selected. Avry camera.

5. Tap on Camera icon on Extron touch screen.

Camera has option of

Automatic: If this is selected the camera will automatical move to how ever move in front of the camera. 

Manual: If Manual is select you will have to use the control to move the camera.

6. To control audio Tap on Audio control to mute, unmute and bring volume up or down.

Audio Controls ( This Panel control mics that are in the room and the volume of the speakers)

1. Tap on the Audio control panel. slide finger and slide bar with finger to bring speaker volume up. 

2. Use Mute to Mute the speaker. Pink = muted

CEILING MIC

Tap on Ceiling Mic mute to mute and unmute mic. 

Display control

1. If this screen does not show up at first click on Audio control icon then back to Display control icon.

2. If you would like to turn off front wall display or Ceiling display just tap on the off icon to turn it off. 

3. To turn it back on just tap the on icon to turn back on the device you wanted off.

NEWLINE Q Series Cheat Sheet.

Turning on the Display.  One Monitor is the primary the other is seconardy or extended only. 

1. Press the Power button on the bottom right side of the display.

2. The button will change color from red to blue once the display is powered on.

The Front Ports

There are five ports located on the bottom left hand side of the front of the panel: USB Touch, HDMI, USB 3.0 Type-C with 65 watts of power delivery, and mic-in.

Switching Sources

1. Any device currently connected to the display will light up in white in the Source Preview window on the home screen.

2. Tap the icon of the Source you want to switch to.

3. The Source Preview window will show a preview of what is currently on the Screen of that connected device.

4. Tap the icon of the Source a second time or tap the Preview window and you will be taken to the source.

5. Plugging your device into the front ports will automatically bring up the device on screen.

Connecting a Computer

Connecting a Computer with USB-C

1. You will need a USB Type-C cable to connect a computer.

2. Pug in one end of the USB-C cable into the front or side USB-C port.

3. Take the other end of the USB-C port and plug it into the USB-C port on your computer.

4. Once both cables have been plugged into the display and the computer, the matching port should turn white on the source Preview on the Home Screen.

Connecting a Compute with USB and HDMI

1. You will need and HDMI cable and a USB A to B cable to connect a computer.

2. On the front plug it into the HDMI port.

3. Take the other end of the HDMI port and plug it into the HDMI port on your computer.

4. Plug in the USB-B end of the USB cable into the frot  port labeled USB Touch.

5. Take the USB-A end of the USB cableand plug it into the USB port on your computer.

6. Once both cables have been plugged into the display and the computer, the matching port should turn white on the Source Preview on the Home screen.

Using the home page short cuts

Quick Access Toolbar

The Quick access toolbar can be accessed by tapping the white circle on the either left or right side of the screen. To minimize the Quick Access Toolbar, tap the button again.

 Ops Source Shortcut: Takes you to the on-board computer (OPS) Tap on and hold to pull up additional icons that can take you to the Sources menu letting you easily switch                            between available sources

 Home Shortcut: Takes you to the main Home screen.

  Annotation Shortcut: Brings up whiteboarding options on top ot whatever is on the current screen. Tap a second time to save a screenshot.

  Whiteboard Shortcut:  Takes you to the whiteboarding screen, letting you draw and take notes instantly.

  Quick Access Menu Button: Tap to open the Quick access Menu. Tap again to minimize the menu

  Apps Shortcut: Takes you to a list of all the apps available on the panel.

  Source Preview Shortcut: Shows which sources are connected to the display

  Running Apps Shortcut: Pulls up all apps currently running on the panel.

  Back Shortcut: Goes back one screen or to the previous app. Can also be used to exit an app.

 

 File Viewer: Lets you access and preview your files on local and cloud storage systems

 Browser: Pulls up a web browser if the display is connected to the internet.

  Screen Sharing: Takes you to the Newline Cast wireless screen sharing app.

  End Session: Ends session and takes you back to the start screen

 

Turning off the sytem.

When finished with the system please tap the system off Icon to turn off the system. PLEASE BE SURE TVS are off. IF system fails to turn off system Use remote or button on TV to turn off.
