Use silver remote to turn on the projector
SOURCE SELECTION
1. To project: HDMI & USB C - silver remote is Digital link (#5)
on PROJECTOR
a. All switching of these sources is manually when the switcher detects the source by
pressing the button on the Extron switcher once the projector is set to Digital link.
2. HDMI Laptop connection (On projector input is Digital Link.) INPUT 1 on Extron auto switcher
a. To use a laptop’s HDMI connection, connect the provided HDMI cable to the PC.
b. The HDMI cable also sends audio to the projector. Yet, you may need to check your
system preferences to verify that audio is routed to Extron HDMI.
**Macintosh laptops sometimes require an adapter to connect to either HDMI cables**
3. USB C Laptop connection INPUT 3 on Extron
a. To use a laptop’s USB C connection, connect the provided USB C cable to your PC or
Mac.
b. Switch to input 3 on the Extron switcher in the podium when signal detected.
c. Mac or PC audio should be audio should be set to Extron HDMI.
4. Troubleshooting:
a. Each input is assigned a number in the black Extron box on the shelf. Each number has
an LED light that shows signal to that input. Typically, the following applies: 1 = HDMI
3 = USB C. If do not see a light, then no input is detected and you have a connection
issue. Otherwise, the input being displayed shines green, and any other source waiting
to be selected shines orange. If you need another input to display, push the designated
button (if Orange) on the black box and you can switch to your device.
DVD/VCR
DVD
1. Select Video (on remote)
2. Make Sure the power is ON
3. Be sure the DVD/VCR button is selected to DVD. You should see a DVD image on the screen.
4. Push the Open/Close button on the DVD/VHS deck
5. Insert your disk.
6. Push he Open/Close button or gently push the tray in
7. Use the DVD/VHS remote control or buttons on the deck to control the DVD deck.
VHS
1. Push Video on the projector remote.
2. Be sure the power is On on the DVD/VHS deck.
3. Be sure the VHS that the DVD/VCR button is selected for VCR. You should see a blue image on the screen.
4. Insert your VHS tape into the deck
5. Use the DVD/VHS remote control or buttons on the deck to control the DVD deck.
