FA 104 Media Systems Instructions (Crestron)

Podium Instructions

 

Use Crestron Touch Panel on top of podium for all controls.

1.  Touch screen to power up. Welcome screen will come on.

2.  Touch Welcome Screen anywhere and Presentation Window will appear.

3.  Push desired input on touch screen side bar and tap to select or push finger up or down to see the rest of the SOURCE SELECTION.

 

  • Projector will automatically turn on and screen will lower.

3.   To change input on touch screen just tap the Icon on the side bar for SOURCE SELECTION desired.

SCREEN CONTROL: Once desired input is selected screen will automatically lower. . You can also use the settings button to lower and raise the screen or turn off the projector if wanting to write on the whiteboard. Use Arrow tabs under where it says Screen control to raise and lower the screen.

VOLUME CONTROL: Controlled from the Crestron Touch Panel

  • Push the  button to increase volume.
  • Push the   button to decrease volume.

 

  • Make sure MUTE is off unless needed.

SOURCE SELECTION:  Push desired input on touch screen.

 

  • PC (Desktop Computer) (Instructor Computer)
    • Make sure PC is powered on and the monitor is turned on.
    • Push the Room PC Icon on the Crestron unit.

  • Laptop (VGA) (Instructor Laptop)

1. Push the Laptop Icon on the Crestron unit.

2. Connect the VGA cable located on the podium to your laptop.

3. Connect the Mini audio cable to your laptop headphone jack.

  • When connecting a laptop Please remember to mirror your image by either pressing FN + F8 or    + P (Select Mirror image).  If these options do not work you might have to go to Graphic display options and may need further help.  If so contact us at the number below.
  • Mac users click the Mac symbol  choose System Preferences. Choose displays click arrangement tab. In lower left corner of the Arrangement pane select “Mirror displays”

4. Connect the Ethernet cable if you want wired internet connection.

5. If you hook up to our wireless access please click on this link General Wireless access. If you are trying to connect to the Unsecured wireless access click on this link Open Wireless access. We suggest this link

NOTE: If you do not have VGA you will need to get your own adapter. Click on the ADAPTERS link and you can see the different types of adaters that are available and will have to purchase.

  • HDMI

                 Connect the HDMI cable to your laptops HDMI port

  • Blu-Ray
  1. If using a DVD: Push the Blu-Ray Icon to select Blu-Ray.

 

  • Use Crestron Touch Panel to SKIP, FF, REW, STOP, EJECT & view MENU.

•  Doc Camera

  • Be sure to turn on the Doc camera by clicking on switch located on left side of doc camera.
  1. Push the Document Camera Icon on the Crestron touch screen.

 

Mersive Solstice Pod

  • Touch the Mersive Solstice ICON on the touch screen.

 

  • In order for the Mersive Solstice Device to work you will have to download an application for the system to work. Click on this link for our article on how to do this. Mersive Solstice

PLEASE TURN OFF SYSTEM AT THE END OF CLASS!

  • Please Turn off any other units used!

 

  1. To Turn off the System please, push the  Icon on the bottom of the Crestron Touch Panel
  2. Please press YES to confirm for the system to shut down.
  • Remember to turn off monitor when finished.
