Podium Instruction
- Power up the Projector by using the Grey remote
- Press the RED button (on the remote)
- Select Source
- Laptop
- Connect the VGA cable to your Laptop
- Connect the mini cable to your Laptops audio port.
3. Connect the Ethernet cable to your Laptop for wired internet.
4. Push Com 1on the Projector remote .
♦ When connecting a Laptop Please remember to mirror your image by either pressing FN + F8 or + P (Select Mirror image). If these options do not work you might have to go to Graphic Display Options and may need further help. If so please contact us at the number below.
- Push the VIDEO button (on the remote).
- Make sure power on DVD/VHS player is ON.
- Make sure the DVD/VCR button is on DVD on the DVD/VHS deck.
- You should see a DVD Welcome screen image projected.
- Push the OPEN/CLOSE button on the deck to open the tray
- Insert your DVD into the tray.
- Push the button again or gently push in tray.
- Use the remote or controls on the deck to control the DVD.
- Push the VIDEO button (on the remote).
- Make sure power on DVD/VHS player is ON.
- Make sure the DVD/VCR button is on VHS.
- You should see a blue image projected on the screen.
- Insert VHS tape.
- Use the controls on the remote or on the deck to control the VHS tape.
AirMedia allows you to wirelessly present documents, photos and videos from your Android or iOS mobile device or laptop onto the TV. The system allows a single full-screen presentation or up to four shared presentations to be displayed.
Be sure the remote input is set to HDMI
Directions for Laptops (PC/Mac):
Step 1: Connect to the University's Wi-Fi network and open your Internet browser.
Step 2: Type the address on the TV screen in the URL bar. (the string of numbers in parentheses)
Step 3: Download and install the client for you PC or Mac.
Step 4: Once downloaded, installed and opened, you are prompted for the "CODE" on the screen.
Step 5: Once you see that the content on your laptop device is mirrored onto the classroom display, beware, everything that you see on you computer screen, viewers will also see.
Step 6: Sometimes MAC laptops require that you set your second preference to the Airmedia plug-in, which is called SOUNDFLOWER.
You may now begin your presentation
* When finished presenting - Close and Disconnect the AirMedia
app on your device
ALTERNATE FUNCTION INSTRUCTIONS
Using the Quad View
Step 1: Using the Airmedia app display, select which section of the screen you would like to display on.
Step 2: Other users must login using the same process as you did and then select which portion of the screen they wish to use.
*Note to use: When using quad view sound is disabled.
Directions for Presenting with Android & iOS devices
(Doesn't support video or content protected media)
Step 1: Download and Install the Crestron Airmedia App from the Google Play Store (Android) or iTunes Store (iOS).
Step 2: Once downloaded and installed, open the Airmedia App.
Step 3: The app will automatically search for the AirMedia in that room. If it does not find it, type the address on the screen in the app search bar. (the string of numbers in parentheses)
Step 4: When the connection is established, you are prompted to enter the "CODE" on the screen.
Step 5: Select the content (ONLY IMAGES AND FINISHED DOCUMENTS) from your mobile device you would like to project.
If you wish to invite viewer from afar to monitor you presentation, they are permitted to view snapshots (refreshed every 10 seconds) of the visual aspect of your presentation via a website.
Step 1: Provide invitees with the address on the TV screen in the URL bar. (the string of numbers in parentheses)
Step 2: They must login the same way you did with the provided URL
*When finished presenting - Close and Disconnect the AirMedia app on your device & turn off the TV.
- Power off
- To turn off the projector Please push the RED power button on the remote. Hit again to confirm the power off of the projector.
- Please remember to turn off any other devices that you might have turned on.
PLEASE shut down projector at the end of class!
