CBT 115 Breakout room Media Systems Instructions (TV)

Podium Instructions

TV

1. To Turn on the TV you must go to the right side of the TV. The controls can be seen on this side.

          2.  Push the lower button marked  . This is the POWER button.  Once pushed give it a few seconds and the Power light on the TV will turn blue. This shows that the TV is on.

 

• DVD/VHS

• VHS

1. Push the INPUT button on the side of the TV until you see AV2 on the front of the TV is highlighted.
2. Turn on the DVD/VHS Deck.
3. Push the DVD/VCR button. Be sure it is on VCR.
4. Blue screen will come up.
5. Insert VHS tape.
6. Use VCR controls to control VHS tape.

• DVD

1. Push the INPUT button on the side of the TV until you see AV2 on the front of the TV is highlighted.
2. Turn on the DVD/VHS Deck.
3. Push the DVD/VCR button. Be sure it is on DVD.
4. DVD logo screen will come up.

                        5. Push the Open/Close button on the deck.

                        6. Insert DVD into the tray.

                        7. Push Play on DVD side to play disk.             

• Laptop

There are two location to plug your laptop into. 

            

1. A cable is in the pocket of the conference table

You can only use one plug in at time for your laptop.

2.Plug the provided VGA cable into your laptop at one of these locations.

                        3. Plug the Mini audio cable into your laptops headphone jack.

4. To Connect to the wired internet. Connect the Ethernet cable to your computer. If you brought your own cable into the Yellow jack on the table connections plate. Or use Wi-Fi.

5. If you use our wireless access please click on this General Wireless access. If you are trying to connect to the Unsecured wireless access click on this link Open Wireless access. We suggest this link

                   6. Push the INPUT on the back of the TV until RGB-PC is highlighted.

                   7. Turn on your computer.

• When connecting a Laptop Please remember to mirror your image by either pressing FN + F8 or   + P (Select Mirror image).  If these options do not work you might have to go to Graphic Display Options and may need further help.  If so please contact us at the number below.
• Mac users click the Mac symbol  choose System Preferences. Choose displays click arrangement tab. In lower left corner of the Arrangement pane select “Mirror displays”

NOTE: If you do not have VGA you will need to get your own adapter. Click on the ADAPTERS link and you can see the different types of adaters that are available and will have to purchase.

• Volume control
  1. Use the Volume control located on the side of the TV to control the Volume.
• Power OFF
  1. Turn off any units being used.
  2. Put cable back by TV or in pocket of Conference table when done.
  3. REMEMBER TO TURN OFF TV WHEN FINISHED.
