Media Systems Instructions

Projector

Push the Power button on the Projector remote.

Push Computer 1 on the Projector remote.

1. Please touch the Power ON button on the side of the Crestron touch screen.

2. Once this button is pushed a Welcome screen will appear. Touch anywhere on the screen.

3. Selection screen will appear.

Selection

  • Laptop (PC button)
  1. Connect the provided VGA cable into your laptop.
  2. Connect the Blue mini audio cable to your laptops headphone jack.

3. For wired internet connection plug in the Ethernet cable into your laptop.

4. If you hook up to our wireless access please click on the link General Wireless access. If you are try to connect to the Unsecured wireless access click on this link Open wired access. We suggest this link.

5. Turn on your laptop.

6.  Push the PC icon on the Crestron touch screen.

  • When connecting a Laptop Please remember to mirror your image by either pressing FN + F8 or + P (Select mirror image).If these options do not work you might have to go to Graphic display Options and may need further help.If so contact us at the number below.
  • Mac (desktop)
    1. Make sure the Mac is ON.
    2. Push the MAC Icon on the Crestron touch screen.
  • Guest laptop HDMI
  1. Turn on your laptop
  2. Plug in HMDI cable into your laptop.
  3. Push PC on Crestron touch screen.
  4. On projector Push HDMI 1.       
  • Rack
  1. Be sure Power switches in the Rack is on. ( RED button to the Far right)
  2. The button on the left is for the lights to see the equipment better. If you turn this button on please pull out the lights when being used if not please have this button on the off position.
  3. Make sure sound board is on.
  4. Be sure any other equipment being used in the rack is on.
  • RACK

 

 

  • VHS
  1. Push the VCR COMBO Icon on the Crestron touch screen.
  2. Be sure the Power is on.If the Unit is not on push the power button on the deck.
  3. Insert the VHS tape.
  4. Use the button on the Crestron touch screen to control the VHS deck.
  5. To return to the Selection screen push the Return to Main Icon on the Crestron touch screen.
  6. To control the sound you can use the Volume up and Volume down buttons on the side to control the sound of the VCR.Use Mute to mute the sound. Push again to Unmute the sound.

  • DVD
  1. Push the DVD Icon on the Crestron touch screen.
  2. Be sure the Power is on.If the Unit is not on push the power button on the deck.
  3. Push the Open/Close button on the deck.
  4. Insert the disk into the tray.
  5. Push the Open/Close button again or push the tray in gently.
  6. Use the Crestron touch screen to control the DVD deck.Play, Stop, Pause, Skip back, Skip forward, Scan back, Scan forward.
  7. To return to the Selection screen push the Return to Main Icon on the Crestron touch screen.
  8. To control the sound you can use the Volume up and Volume down buttons on the side to control the sound of the VCR.Use Mute to mute the sound. Push again to Unmute the sound.

 

 

  • SVHS
  1. Push the VCR (SVHS) Icon on the Crestron touch screen.
  2. Volume is controlled through the mixer located in the Rack
  • MIXER

  • Tape deck
    1. To use the Tape deck be sure the power on the tape deck is ON.
    2. Push the Open/Close button on the Tape deck.
    3. Insert the Tape into the deck.
    4. Push the buttons on the deck to control the Deck.
    5. Volume is controlled through the mixer located in the Rack
  • CD player
  1. To use the CD deck make sure the power on the CD deck is ON.
  2. Push the Open/Close button on the Tape deck.
  3. Insert the Disk into the tray.
  4. Push the buttons on the deck to control the Deck.
  5. Volume is controlled through the mixer located in the Rack
  • Auxiliary Video

  1. For the Auxiliary inputs you will have to supply your own cable.The locations for these inputs are behind the screen.
  2. Plug in the cables into the jacks behind the screen.
  3. Plug the other end to your device
  4. Turn on your device
  5. Push the Auxiliary Video Icon on the Crestron touch screen.
  • Auxiliary Computer

  1. For the Auxiliary inputs you will have to supply your own cable.The locations for these inputs are behind the screen.
  2. Plug in the cables into the jacks behind the screen.
  3. Plug the other end to your device
  4. Turn on your device
  5. Push the Auxiliary Video Icon on the Crestron touch screen.
  • Power down (ALWAYS do this at the end of your class)
  1. Push the POWER OFF button on the side of the Crestron touch screen.
  2. Push the YES to confirm the SHUT DOWN.

                3. Remember to turn off any other device that you turned on.

     4. Use the Projector remote to Power down the projector.

PLEASE SHUT DOWN THE PROJECTOR AT THE END OF CLASS!
