General Projector Instructions

To use the projector, follow these steps:

 

  1.  Press the power ON button. 

 

Guest laptop. (HDMI Cable)

1. Push HDMI 1 input (on remote)

2, Be sure the HDMI cable is connected to your laptop.

  • When connecting a laptop Please remember to mirror your image by either pressing FN + F8 or  + P (Select Mirror image).  If these options do not work you might have to go to Graphic display options and may need further help.  If so contact us at the number below.
  • Mac users click the Mac symbol choose System Preferences. Choose displays click arrangement tab. In lower left corner of the Arrangement panel select “Mirror displays”

SolisticePod

           1. Push HDMI 2 input (on remote).

1) Select the correct input on the display device for the Solstice device. Once the correct input is selected you should see the image below.

2) Be sure the app is loaded for the device you are using. Follow the installation directions to install the app.

3) Be sure to put in a name for the device when prompted. Push Continue to go to the next step.

 

4) Tap the Enter IP tab

5) Enter the Ip address ( Use the Internal IP address. This address changes from room to room.)

 

6) After the Ip address is enter the device will attempt to connect to the Mersive device.

7) Once connected it will ask for the Key in order to complete the connection. Type in the Key that shows on the projection screen ( The Key changes with each connection).

8)  The Solstice device will inform you that it will start capturing everything that is displayed on your phone. Tap the start now when ready.

9) Once you start the Solstice device it will give you a main screen to allow you to project to the screen.

10) When finished just click on the disconnect tab on the top to disconnect your device for the Solstice device.

 

Volume Control is on the top of the remote 

 

Please shut down projector at end of class

• To turn off projector, press the power OFF button on the remote control.

 You will need to press the same button again to confirm

• Please turn off the main power off any other devices that might you have turned on.
