LWH 4001 Media Systems Instructions

To use the projector, follow these steps:

1. Press the power ON button.You should hear a beep.

Select device

• Laptop (computer 1 )
  1. Connect the VGA cable to your laptop. (Find Cable marked Projector VGA)
  2. Connect the mini audio cable to your laptops headphone jack.
  3. For Wired internet connection plug in the Ethernet cable into your laptop.
  4. If you hook up to our wireless access please click on the link General Wireless access.If you are trying to connect to the Unsecured wireless access click on this link Open Wireless access. We suggest this link.

5. Push Computer1 (on the Projector remote).

6. Turn on your laptop.

• When connecting a Laptop Please remember to mirror your image by either pressing FN + F8 or  + P (select mirror image).If these options do not work you might have to go to Graphic display options and may need further help.If so contact us at the number below.

• DVD/VHS
  1. Push Video button ( on the Projector remote)
     • DVD
       1. Turn on the DVD/VHS deck.
       2. Push the DVD/VHS button on the DVD/VHS deck.Be sure the DVD is selected. You should see a logo screen appear on the screen.

                                      3. Push the Open/Close button on the DVD/VHS deck.

                                      4. Insert your Disk into the tray.

                                      5. Use the remote or the buttons on the deck to control the DVD.

• VHS
  1. Turn on the DVD/VHS deck.
  2. Push the DVD/VHS button on the DVD/VHS deck.Be sure the VCR is selected. You should see a blue screen.
  3. Insect your VHS tape into the machine.
  4. Use the remote or the buttons on the deck to control the VHS.

 

• INSTRUCTIONS

• If Apple TV not on automatically

  Turning on

• Apple TV (3rd gen. and earlier): Hold down the Menu and Down buttons together for about 10 seconds.

• Turning off 

• Apple TV (3rd gen. and earlier): While in the main menu, hold down the Play/Pause button for 5 seconds. ( the device will go to sleep anywhere from 1.5 to 2 seconds).

1. Select HDMI (on Projector remote).
2. You should see the login screen similar to this image:

1. In some cases the apple Tv will be in sleep mode or on another screen. If so use the (  tv remote) MENU button to navigate back to conference mode.
2. Make sure that your wireless device (iPhone, iPad or Mac laptop) is using the NEIU unsecured wireless network.Otherwise your device will not find the
3. Using Airplay on you MAC device, find thefor your classroom.It should be named after the room that you are in.Then select that to connect.
4. A 4 digit code will appear on the projector screen.Enter that code into the box that appears on the Apple device.
5. If you have followed these steps correctly, the projector screen should be mirroring your device.
   • Please note: there are some restrictions on what your iPhone and iPad will display.Please refer to Apple website for these restrictions. Click on here for more information.

• Volume Control for each device is on the bottom left of the remote

TO USE THE TV

TV

 

1. Push the power button on the TV remote to turn on the TV.

 Laptop (On TV remote HDMI/PC)

To hook up your laptop to the TV.

1.Find the VGA cable Marked TV VGA.

2. Plug in the VGA cable.

• 1. Connect the mini audio cable to your laptops headphone jack.
  2. For Wired internet connection plug in the Ethernet cable into your laptop.

4. Push HDMI/PC (on the TV remote).Select PC on the TV.

5. Turn on your laptop.

MAC Mini

Be sure the Mac mini is turned on. The power button is located on the back of the mac mini.

Push the HDMI/PC button until MAC MINI shows on screen

Please shut down projector at end of class

• To turn off projector, press the power OFF button
  • You will need to press once again to confirm
