LWH 3106 Media Systems Instructions (Panasonic, Apple TV)

Podium instructions

 

To view any media device

  • Power up projector by using Grey remote.
    • Press (RED) button (on remote)

Select Source

  • Each time you switch the input source, a dialogue box of your selection will display on the screen
  • Laptop VGA

          1.  If you wish to use your laptop, connect the VGA external cables provided to your laptop.

          2. For audio be sure the mini audio cable is connected to your laptops headphone jack. 

This may require an adapter to connect your laptop. You must have your own adapter. If you need assistance on know what adapter to get please contact us at the phone or email below.

          3.  Be sure your laptop is turned on. 

          4. Be sure you laptop is selected to Duplicate to get the image to the screen.

            5. Select Comp 1 on the projectors remote.

  • When connecting a Laptop Please remember to mirror your image by either pressing FN+F8 or   + P (Select Mirror image). If these options do not work you might have to go to graphic display options and may need further help.  If so please contact us at the number below.
  • DVD/VCR
    • Select Video (on remote)
    • Make Sure the power is ON

 

  •    INSTRUCTIONS
  • If Apple TV not on automatically

    Turning on

  • Apple TV (3rd gen. and earlier): Hold down the Menu and Down buttons together for about 10 seconds.
  • Turning off 

  • Apple TV (3rd gen. and earlier): While in the main menu, hold down the Play/Pause button for 5 seconds. (The device will go to sleep anywhere from 1.5 to 2 seconds).

  1. Select HDMI (Grey Projector remote)
  2.  You should see the  login screen similar to this image:

  1. In some cases the  will be asleep or on another screen. If so, use the ( remote) Menu button to navigate back to conference mode.

      2. Make sure that your wireless device (iPhone, iPad or Mac laptop) is using the NEIU unsecured wireless network. Otherwise your device will not find the .

      3. Using Airplay on your MAC device, find the  for your classroom. It should be named after the room that you are in. Then select that  to connect.

      4. A 4-digit code will appear on the projector screen. Enter that code into the box that appears on your Apple device.

      5. If you have followed the steps correctly, the projector screen should be mirroring your device.

  • Please note: there are some restrictions on what your iPhone and iPad will display. Please refer to Apple website for these restrictions.

 

  • Volume control
    • Use volume control buttons on remote
  • Power OFF
    • To turn off the projector please push the RED power button on the remote. Hit again to confirm the power off of the projector
    • Please remember to turn off any other devices that you might of turned on.

 

Please shut down projector at end of class!
