LWH 2108 Media Systems Instructions (Crestron)

Use Crestron Touch panel on top of podium for all control.

  1. Touch the Crestron Screen.

 

2..  Press anywhere on screen again. System will warm up.

Selection Screen will show up

3.  Push Icon of desired device.

Mute projector: This is an option that you can use to let the Projector run but the image will not project. You can use this option if you want to write on the board but not want to restart the projector. UNMUTE image when done.

1. Push the Mute icon to Mute the image 

2. Unmute push Unmute icon to show image again. 

  • Screen
  1. On the right of the Podium on the wall close to the white board is a switch that allows you to rise and lower the projection screen.
  • Local Computer (Mac) 
  1. Touch keys on keyboard to wake up computer. Screen will come on with message on next step to do.
  2. Left Click on mouse.
  3. Vara Lab screen will come on.
  4. Type in your Net ID to Login and your Net ID password.
  5. Computer should finish loading
  6. Push Local Computer on Crestron touch screen.
  7. To load a USB flash Drive connect to the cable on the podium.

Note:  To return to the Selection screen just push the Home Icon on the top left of the Crestron touch screen. This will take you back to the selection screen.

  • Laptop

1. Connect the VGA cable located on the podium to your laptop.

2. Connect mini audio cable to your headphone jack on your laptop.

3. For Wired internet connection plug in the Ethernet cable into your laptop.

4. If you hook up to our wireless access please click on the link General Wireless access.  If you try to connect to the Unsecured wireless access click on this link Open wired access. We suggest this link.

5. Push the Laptop Computer Icon on the Crestron touch screen.

6. Turn on your computer.

  • When connecting a laptop Please remember to mirror your image by either pressing Fn + F8 or  + P (Select Mirror image).If these options do not work you might have to go to Graphic display options and may need further help.If so contact us at the number below.

Note:  To return to the Selection screen just push the Home Icon on the Crestron touch screen. This will take you back to the selection screen.

Laptop HDMI

  1. Plug in the HDMI cable into your laptop computer

       2. Push the HDMI Icon on the Crestron touch screen

  • When connecting a laptop Please remember to mirror your image by either pressing Fn + F8 or  + P (Select Mirror image).If these options do not work you might have to go to Graphic display options and may need further help.If so contact us at the number below.

Note:  To return to the Selection screen just push the Home Icon on the Crestron touch screen. This will take you back to the selection screen.

Blu Ray

  1. Select the Blu Ray icon on the Crestron touch screen. 
  2. Turn on the Blu Ray deck by pushing the power Icon on the Blu Ray control panel  touch screen. 
  3. Use the Blu Ray controls on the touch screen to control the DVD player

 

Note:  To return to the Selection screen just push the Home Icon on the button

  • Doc Camera

  1. Turn ON Doc camera.
  2. Push Document Camera on Crestron touch screen.

Note:To return to the Selection screen just push the Home Icon on the Crestron touch screen. This will take you back to the selection screen.

 

  • Volume control
  1. To use the Volume control on the Crestron Push the Arrow icon on the far right to raise and lower the volume.
  2. This option is shown on all devices screens on the touch screen.
  3. Push the UP Arrow on the Crestron to raise the volume.

4. Push the DOWN Arrow on the Crestron to lower the volume.

  • SHUT DOWN (ALWAYS do this at the end of your class)
  1. Turn off all devices that were used.
  2. Push the Power button Icon on the Crestron touch screen. (Located on the Upper left Corner). 
  3. Push YES to confirm shut down.

 

PLEASE SHUT DOWN THE PROJECTOR AT THE END OF CLASS!
