This is troubleshooting on the pdf files and word documents not opening.

Make sure it is connected by wire

Go to dell.com/support.

Detect the PC by either Service Tag or if the laptop have Supportassist, it will detect it self

Go to Drivers and downloads

Search Encryption
-
Download the latest version of encryption.

Run as admin. This will restart the computer.

Test if any file is opening.
