How to Add Printers and Scanners

HOW TO ADD PRINTERS AND SCANNERS

This document is to show you how to add printers and Scanner in your NEIU MacBook.

  1. Click on the  Apple  logo , top left , of the screen.
  2. Choose System Settings to open the System Settings.
  3. Scroll all the way down to locate Printer and Scanner.
  4. Click Add Printer, Scanner, or Fax
  5. Locate your printer (check it is usb connected or network connected).
  6. Click Add.

  1. NEIU Multi-Functions Printers:
    1. NEIU issued MacBooks are already connected to the Multi-Functions Printers. You can use this while you are in campus and connected to our network.

    1. In Spotlight type Self Service
    2. Go to Catalog> Printers> Reset Printing System >click Reset
      1. This will delete all printers connected to your NEIU issued MacBook.
      2. NEIU Multi-Functions Printers will appear after few minutes.
