BBH 325

Podium Instruction

1) Touch the Crestron touch screen to wake up the system

The Presentation screen will appear.

2) Select what device you want on which display left or right or both. This will automatically turn on that screen and go to the device you selected. If choosing both just touch the same device for each display.

Desktop computer

Note: To use the computer DO NOT TYPE IN YOUR USER NAME AND PASSWORD. Just hit enter on the log in page.

1) To use the Desktop computer. Be sure to wake up the Computer but hitting the enter key.

The computer will wake up and show on the monitor on the podium. If the computer does not come on be sure that the power on the computer is on by pushing the power button on the computer.

2) To display the Desktop computer just push PC on one or both of the displays. The PC will now go to that Display and the Icon will turn blue.

3) To get Audio from the PC please remember to push the PC on the Audio Source selection to get sound from the PC. The Icon will turn blue. Be sure the Mute icon in not turned on. If the Mute Icon is on the Icon will be Red.

Laptop VGA

1) Be sure your laptop is On.

2) Connect the VGA cable to your laptop.

3) Connect the mini audio cable to your laptops headphone jack.

4) Select VGA on the Crestron touch screen for desired display. You can do one or both.

5) For Audio for your laptop be sure to select VGA in the Audio Source Selection icons.

6) For Wired internet connection plug in the Ethernet cable into your laptop.

When connecting a Laptop Please remember to mirror your image by either pressing FN + F8 or  + P (Select mirror image). If these options do not work you might have to go to Graphic Display options and may need further help. If so contact us at the number below.

Laptop HDMI

1) Turn on your laptop.

2) Connect the HDMI cable to your laptops HDMI port.

3) Select HDMI on the Crestron touch screen.

4) For Audio for your laptop be sure to select HDMI in the Audio Source Selection icons.

USB Camera connection for guest laptops

1. Connect the USB cable to your laptop.

2. Be sure laptop is selected on Crestron screen.

3. Be sure to tap on the words Conference control (Press to control cameras and rear display)

Blu Ray player

1) Touch the Blu Ray Icon to put the Blu ray image on the Display.

 

2) To control the Blu Ray player touch the Blu ray Control Icon on the upper left. This will bring up the screen above.

3) To turn on the Blu Ray player that is located under the podium push the Power Icon on the Blu Ray control Icon.

4) Push eject Icon to insert your Disk. The Blu Ray Player will play Blu Ray disks, DVDs, and CDs.

5) Audio be sure to select Blu Ray icon in the Audio source selection to hear the audio from the Blu Ray player.

Doc Cam

1) Select the Doc Cam Icon on the Display you wish to use.

2) Be sure the power is on for the Doc camera.

Use the Doc Cam to Write on paper to show class or put device under to show to class.

Soltice Pod

1) Select the Soltice Icon to which ever display you wish it to be on.

2) For Audio be sure to Select Soltice icon in the Audio Source selection to hear the audio from the Soltice Pod

Webcasting

Internet (webcasting) room conferencing ability

Google hangouts

These room have the ability to use the above programs over the internet to conference to other participants.

You must have you own account to use these programs.

To use this part follow the directions below.

  1. Click on the Room PC icon.

Front camera

  1. To control the camera that is aimed at the front of the room toward the instructor push the INSTRUCTOR Icon on the touch screen. This will allow you to control this camera.

 

Options for camera control

  1. You can use Presets to quickly go to preset that are already set for the camera
  2. Use the arrow keys to control the cameras direction.
  3. Use the + symbol to zoom in with the camera or use – to zoom out with the camera.
  4. To control the camera that is aimed at the Audience. Push the Audience icon

To display the LAPTOP.

  1. Hook to laptop up to the system by connecting the cable.
  2. Push the Laptop icon. Now your laptop will be displayed on zoom.

To display Doc camera

  1. Push the Doc Camera icon. Now the Doc camera will be displayed on zoom.

To display Solstice.

  1. Push the Solstice icon. Now the Solstice device will be displayed on Zoom.

Blue ray players are not hooked up to Internet (webcasting) rooms due to copyright laws.

 

PLEASE TURN OFF SYSTEM AT THE END OF CLASS!

Please Turn off any other units used!

 To Turn off the System please, push the Icon on the bottom of the Crestron Touch Panel

Please press YES to confirm for the system to shut down.

Remember to turn off monitor when finished.
