Quick sheet
1. Turn on the projector with the remote.
2. Push Digital link on the projector remote.
3. Be sure Hitachi AV selector is turned on.
4. Select the device you want.
DEVICE SELECTION
Desktop computer (In room laptop) = on Hitachi switcher be sure HDMI 2 is selected. On Projector Digital link
HDMI Guest laptop cable = on Hitachi switcher be sure HDMI 1 is selected. On Projector Digital link
Blu-Ray player = on Hitachi switcher be sure HDMI 3 is selected. On Projector Digital link
VGA guest laptop cable= on Hitachi switcher be sure Computer 1 is selected. On Projector Digital link
Podium instructions Panasonic
Use silver remote to turn on the projector
**Volume control: Use volume control buttons on the silver remote.
Be sure that Digital link is selected on the Panasonic remote.
SOURCE SELECTION
Be sure the Hitachi is powered on. ( Located on shelf in the podium)
Desktop computer.
1. Be sure the computer is powered on.
2. Be sure the HDMI 2 is selected on the Hitachi Switcher.
Blu-Ray Player
1. To turn on the Blu-Ray player.The ON button is on the top/front of the player.
2. Be sure HDMI 3 is selected on the HItachi Switcher.
HDMI Laptop connection
1. To use a laptop’s HDMI connection, connect the provided HDMI cable to your laptop.
2. Be sure the HDMI 1 on the Hitachi Switcher is selected.
3. The HDMI cable also sends audio to the projector.Yet, you may need to check your system preferences to verify that audio is routed to HDMI or Crestron.
**Macintosh laptops sometimes require an adapter to connect to either HDMI or VGA cables**
VGA Laptop connection (VGA)
1. Turn on your laptop. You may want to plug in the power to your laptop.
2. To use a laptop’s VGA connection, connect the provided VGA cable to your laptop.
3. Be sure that Computer 1 is selected on the Hitachi switcher.
4. You will use the 3.5mm audio cable to send audio to the projector.Verify in your system preferences that audio is routed to the headphone or external speaker.
- When Connecting a laptop Please remember to mirror your image by either pressing FN + F8 or Window symbol+ P ( Select Mirror or duplicate image ). If these options do not work you might have to go to graphic display options and may need further help. If so please contact us at the number below.

Mac users click the Mac symbol choose System Preferences. Choose displays click arrangement tab. In lower left corner of the Arrangement panel select “Mirror displays”

NOTE: If you do not have VGA or HDMI you will need to get your own adapter. Click on the ADAPTERS link and you can see the different types of adaters that are available and will have to purchase.

5. For Wired Internet connection plug int the eithernet cable into your laptop.
6. If you hook up to our wireless access please click on the link General Wireless access. If you are trying to connect to the Unsecured wireless access click on this link. Open Wireless access. We suggest this link.
