Podium instructions
To view any media device
- Power up projector by using Grey remote.
- Press (RED) button (on remote)
- Select Source
- Each time you switch the input source, a dialogue box of your selection will display on the screen
Desktop computer
1. Select DVI(on remote)
2. Make sure the Monitor is ON.
3. Make sure the Desktop is ON.
Note: Use the USB extension cable to plug in your flash drive.
Laptop (VGA)
1. Turn on your laptop. You might want to plug the power in for your laptop.
2. Connect the VGA cable.
3. Connect the Mini Audio cable to your laptops headphone jack. .
4. Select Computer 1(on remote)
- When connecting a Laptop Please remember to mirror your image by either pressing FN+F8 or + P (Select Mirror image). If these options do not work you might have to go to graphic display options and may need further help. If so please contact us at the number below.
- Mac users click the Mac symbol choose System Preferences. Choose displays click arrangement tab. In lower left corner of the Arrangement panel select “Mirror displays”
NOTE: If you do not have a VGA port you will need to get your own adapter. Click on the ADAPTERS link and you can see the different types of adapters that are available and will have to purchase.

5. For Wired Internet connection plug in the Ethernet cable into your laptop.
6. If you hook up to our wireless access please click on this link General Wireless access. If you are trying to connect to the Unsecured wireless access click on this link. Open Wireless access. We suggest this link
DVD/VCR
DVD (Video)
1. Make Sure the power is ON
2. Select Video (on remote)
3. Be sure that the DVD/VCR button is selected for DVD. You should see a DVD image on the screen.
4. Push the Open/Close button on the DVD/VHS deck.
5. Insert your disk.
6. Push the Open/Close button or gently push the tray.
7. Use the DVD/VHS remote to control the DVD/VHS deck or use the button on the deck to control the DVD deck. Aim the remote at the DVD/VHS remote at the DVD/VHS deck.
VHS
1. Make sure he Power for the VHS player is ON.
2. Push the Video button on the projector remote.
3. Be sure the VHS that the DVD/VCR button is selected for VCR. You should see a blue image on the screen.
4. Insert your VHS tape into the deck
5. Use the DVD/VHS remote to control the DVD/VHS deck or use the button on the deck to control the VHS deck. Aim the remote at the DVD/VHS deck.
- Volume control
- Use volume control buttons on remote
- Power OFF
- To turn off the projector please push the RED power button on the remote. Hit again to confirm the power off of the projector
- Please remember to turn off any other devices that you might of turned on.
Please shut down projector at end of class!
