Podium Instructions

White welcome screen touch anywhere

  1. Lower Screen
  • Push screen down button on control on wall behind Podium.

2.  Touch screen to power up . White screen will come on.

3.  Touch Welcome Screen anywhere and selection menu will appear.

Select Screen ( To return to the selection screen Push Main Icon on the bottom )

  •   PC (Desktop computer)
    1. Touch Local Computer Icon on the Select screen.
    2. Be sure PC is powered on.
  • LapTop

1. Connect the VGA cable located on the podium to your laptop.

2. Connect mini audio cable to your headphone jack on your laptop.

3.Connect internet (Ethernet) cable to your laptop for wired internet access.

4. Push the Laptop Icon on the touch screen.

  • When connecting a laptop Please remember to mirror your image by either pressing FN + F8 or  + P (Select Mirror image).  If these options do not work you might have to go to Graphic display options and may need further help.  If so contact us at the number below.
  • For Mac users: Mac users click the Mac symbol   choose System Preferences. Choose displays click arrangement tab. In lower left corner of the Arrangement panel select “Mirror displays”

NOTE: If you do not have a VGA port you will need to get your own adapter. Click on the ADAPTERS link and you can see the different types of adaters that are available and will have to purchase.

  • DVD/VHS
  • DVD
  1. Push DVD make sure DVD is selected by pushing the DVDmode Icon to select.
  2. If using VHS make sure VHS is selected by pushing the DVD mode Icon to select.
  3. Make sure power is on, on the DVD/VHS unit.
  4. Use the control panel on the touch screen to control the DVD unit.
  5. If using Aux Video you must supply your own cable and plug into Aux video port and if audio need for aux device you must plug into the audio by the aux video as well.
    • Push Aux Video on touch screen.
  • VCR
  1. Push VCR make sure VCR is selected by pushing the VCR mode Icon to select.
  2. If using VHS make sure VHS is selected by pushing the VCR mode Icon to select.
  3. Make sure power is on, on the DVD/VHS unit.
  4. Use the control panel on the touch screen to control the VCR unit.

  • Doc Camera
  1. Push Doc Camera Icon on the Crestron touch screen.
  2. Push the Power Switch on the Document Camera located on the back of the unit.
  3. When finished please push the power switch on Document Camera located on the back of the unit to turn OFF the Document Camera.
  • Volume control
  1. Volume control can be controlled from the Crestron on the Right side of the Crestron  push the up button  to increase and Down to decrease the volume. Make sure Mute button id not pushed on.

  • TURN OFF SYSTEM
  1. Push the Off Button on the Left side of the Crestron touch screen.  Please press YES to confirm the shut down.
  2. Please remember to turn off any other units used.

 

PLEASE SHUT DOWN THE PROJECTOR AT THE END OF CLASS!
