General Projector Instructions

 

To use the projector, follow these steps:

  1. Press the power ON button. You should hear a beep.
  2. Make sure all the power for the equipment being used is turned ON.
  3. Turn ON the Rack power located in the upper right.

  1. Make sure the Amp located on the bottom of the rack is ON.

  • Laptop
  1. Connect the supplied VGA cable to your laptop. (The cable is located by the Equipment rack)
  2. Connect the Mini Audio cable to your laptop.
    • Make sure that this cable is not touching any metal or if not being used the Volume knob on the mixer is turned down this will help stop buzzing that you might be hearing.

3.  Push Comp 1 (on the projector remote)

4. Be sure the  Switcher is switched to Laptop light 1.. Use the Select button to switch input if not on correct light.

 

  • When connecting a Laptop Please remember to mirror you image by either pressing FN+F8 or + P (Select Mirror image). If these options do not work you might have to go to Graphic display options and may need further help. If so please contact us at the number below.
  • Mac users click the Mac symbol  choose System Preferences. Choose displays click arrangement tab. In lower left corner of the Arrangement panel select “Mirror displays”
  • NOTE: If you do not have VGA you will need to get your own adapter. Click on the ADAPTERS link and you can see the different types of adapters that are available and will have to purchase.

  • DVD/VHS

1. Make Sure the power is ON.

2. Select Video (on remote)

3. Be Sure that the DVD/VCR button is selected for DVD.  You should see a DVD image on the screen.

4. Push the Open/Close button on the DVD/VHS deck.

5. Insert your disk.

6. Push the Open/Close button or gently push the tray.

7. Use the DVD/VHS remote to control the DVD/VHS deck or use the button on the deck to control the DVD Deck. Aim the DVD/VHS remote at the DVD/VHS deck.

VHS

1. Make sure the Power for the VHS player is ON.

2. Push the Video button on the projector remote.

3. Be sure on the VHS that the DVD/VCR button is selected for VCR. You should see a Blue image on the Screen.

4. Insert your VHS tape into the deck.

5. Use the DVD/VHS remote to control the DVD/VHS deck or use the button on the deck to control the VHS deck. Aim the remote at the DVD/VHS deck

 

  • MP3
    • If you have your own MP3 device and would like to hook it up to the system there is a Mini audio cable located on the rack.
    • Plug the mini audio cable into the MP3 port on the rack

  • Plug the other end of the cable into your device
  • Be sure the volume knob on the Mixer in the rack is turned up
    • CAUTION: Do not have the volume knob turned up to much only ¼ of the way up and then once music is playing adjust the level.

Doc Camera

  1. Push Comp 1 on the projector remote.
  2. Roll the Cart into position.
  3. Be sure the Unit is unfolded.
  4. Turn on the power to the Doc camera. Located on the back of the unit.
  5. Switch the switcher to Doc camera or 2 ( located in the equipment rack) Use the Select button to switch input if not on correct light.

  • Turntable
    • Be sure the Turntable is turned on. Make sure the volume knob is up but not to far up at first until you play your sound then bring up to the level you like.
    • Place your vinyl record on player and place needle on record.

 

  • Cassette player
    • Be sure the Cassette is turned on. Make sure the volume knob is up but not to far up at first until you play your sound then bring up to the level you like.
    • Open cassette compartment and insert tape.
    • Use the control buttons on the Cassette player to play the cassette.

BLUEDECK2

Button location and functions

  1. Power: Press the button to power the unit on and off.
  2. Play/Pause & Pairing: Press this button to pause the signal from the Bluetooth. Press this button again to play.

Unpairing: Press this button and hold for several seconds to make the unit disconnect from the current Bluetooth connection and go back into standby status.  The Bluedeck 2 will then be able to connect to another Bluetooth compatible device.

  1. Previous button: Press this button to go back to the beginning of the current track or to the previous track on the Bluetooth device.
  2. Next Button: Press this button to go to the beginning of the next track on the Bluetooth device.
  3. Bluetooth Indicator: This indicator will light up if a bluetooth device is successfully paired and connected to the BLUEDECK2.
  4. Bass Control: Use this knob to adjust the treble on the main output.
  5. Treble Control: Use this knob to adjust the treble on the main output.
  6. Headphone Output: Connect your headphones here. Make sure the volume level of the unit is turned down before making a connection.
  7. MP3 Input: Connect your MP3 player here. The unit will play MP3 signal firstly if both MP3 and Bluetooth devices are connected to the unit. Remove the MP# to play Bluetooth audio signal.
  8. Volume: Use this knob to adjust the master volume output.

HOW TO CONNECT YOUR PORTABLE AUDIO DEVICE.

  1. Turn on the power to the BLUEDECK2.
  2. Turn on your audio device you are trying to play you audio from. (Example: IPhone, Android phone, IPad, Tablet, Laptop).
  3. Be sure the Volume knob is down to a low level until sound is heard to make sure volume is not to loud.
  4. Go to the Bluetooth setting for the device you are trying to use.
  5. Turn on Bluetooth if it is not already on.
  6. Click on discover devices.
  7. Look for the device named TPRO BLUEDECK2.  This is the name of the BLUEDECK2 unit.
  8. Click connect or pairing device.
  9. When paired device should say connected or paired. Your device is connected to the BLUEDECK2. The BLUEDECK2 indicator on the front panel will flash after you device successfully connects to the unit.
  10. You can use your device to advance or playback sounds. You can also you the BLUEDECK2 to control your device by press the Previous or Next button on the BLUEDDECK2 to skip a track or go back a track on your device.
  11. Use the Base and Treble on the BLUEDECK2 to control the base and Treble being played from your device.
  12. When finished using the BLUEDECK2 please turn the Volume knob down all the way.
  13. Disconnect your Bluetooth device.
  14. Press the Power button on the device.

Trouble shooting

If  you are having problem connecting to the BLUEDECK2 follow this steps.

  1. Disconnect bluetooth from your device.
  2. Turn off Bluetooth from your device.
  3. Lower the volume knob on the BLUEDECK2.
  4. Turn off the power to the BLUEDECK2.
  5. Turn the power back on the BLUEDECK2.
  6. Turn back on the bluetooth on your device Follow Steps 2 thru 12 on "HOW TO CONNECT YOUR PORTABLE AUDIO DEVICE" (above)

Volume

1. There is a knob located on the rack there is a mixer that controls each volume for each device

2. Be sure the main knobs are 1/2 way up (Located on the mixer next to the power button)

3. Be sure the AMP knobs ar 3/4 of the way up or 5db on the amp.

 

Please shut down projector at end of class

 

• To turn off projector, press the power OFF button on the remote control.

 You will need to press the same button again to confirm

• Please turn off the main power off to any other devices that you might have turned on.
