BBH 120 Media Systems Instructions (Panasonic,Doc)

Podium instructions

1. Turn on the projector by pushing the power button.

2. Select source

• Desktop

1. Be sure the Monitor is on.
2. Push DVI on the projector remote.
3. Be sure Desktop computer is on

• Laptop

1. Push Comp 1 on the projector remote.

2. Plug the VGA cable into your laptop. VGA cable is located on the podium.

3. Connect the mini audio cable to your laptops headphone jack.

• When connecting a Laptop Please remember to mirror your image by either pressing FN + F8 or  + P (Select Mirror image).If these options do not work you might have to go to Graphic display options and may need further help.If so contact us at the number below.
• Mac users click the Mac symbol  choose System Preferences. Choose displays click arrangement tab. In lower left corner of the Arrangement panel select “Mirror displays”

• NOTE: If you do not have a VGA port you will need to get your own adapter. Click on the ADAPTERS link and you can see the different types of adapters that are available and will have to purchase.

  IF you need help finding the adapter you need to please set up a meeting with us and we will be happy to help you find the adapter you need

4. Turn on your computer. You might want to hook up the AC (Power cable) to your laptop.

5. For Wired Internet connection plug in the Ethernet cable into your laptop.

If you hook up to our wireless access please click on link General Wireless access. If you are try to connect to Unsecured wireless access click on this link Open wired access. We suggest this link.

  NOTE: FOR DVD/VHS and Doc cam be sure Extron switcher located on podium shelf is on correct input.

             

 

• DVD/VHS
  • DVD
    1. Make sure the Power for the DVD player is ON.
    2. Push the Video button the projector remote.
    3. Be sure Extron Switcher is on input 1.
    4. Be sure on the DVD that the DVD/VCR button is selected for DVD. You should see a DVD image on the screen.

                          5. Push the Open/Close button on the DVD/VHS deck.

                          6. Insert your disk.

                          7. Push the Open/Close button or gently push the tray.

                          8. Use the DVD/VHS remote to control the DVD/VHS deck or use the button on the deck to control the DVD Deck.

• VHS
  1. Make sure the Power for the VHS player is ON.
  2. Push the Video button the projector remote.
  3. Be sure on the VHS that the DVD/VCR buttonis selected for VCR. You should see a Blue image on the screen.
  4. Insert your VHS tape into the deck.
  5. Use the DVD/VHS remote to control the DVD/VHS deck or use the button on the deck to control the DVD Deck.

Note:  Make sure the Doc camera is off when using the DVD player.

• Document Camera
  1. Turn on the power switch for the Doc camera

1. Push the Video button on the projector remote.
2. Be sure extron swither is on input 2.

Note: Make sure that the DVD player is turned off when using the Doc camera.

Please shut down the Projector at the end of class!

• To turn off the projector please push the RED power button on the remote.
• Push once again to confirm the power off of the projector.
• Please remember to turn off any other devices that you might have turned on.
