Podium instructions
1. Turn on the TV using the TV remote.
2. Use the Creston selector panel to select the device you would like to see.
CRESTRON SELECTOR PANEL
. Select source
- Be sure the Monitor is ON.
- Make sure the PC power is ON.
3. Push PC on the Crestron selector.
- Push VGA on the crestron selector.
- Plug the VGA cable into your laptop.
- Connect the mini audio cable to your laptops headphone jack.
- When connecting a Laptop Please remember to mirror your image by either pressing FN + F8 or Windows symbol
+ P ( Select Mirror or Duplicate image). If these options do not work you might have to go to graphic display options and may need further help. If so please contact us at the number below.
- Mac users click the Mac symbol
choose System Preferences. Choose displays click arrangement tab. In lower left corner of the Arrangement panel select “Mirror displays”
- Connect the Ethernet cable to your laptop for wired internet access.
If you hook up to our wireless access please click on link General Wireless access. If you are trying to connect to Unsecured wireless access click on this link Open wired access. We suggest this link.
- Turn on your laptop.
- Push HDMI on the Crestron selector.
- Plug the HDMI cable into your laptop.
NOTE: If you do not have a HDMI port you will need to get your own adapter. Click on the ADAPTERS link and you can see the different types of adapters that are available and will have to purchase.
If you need help finding the adapter you need to please set up a meeting with us and we will be happy to help you find the adapter you need
1. Make sure the Power for the Blu-Ray player is ON.
2. Push the Blu-Ray button on the Crestron selector
3. Use the Remote to control the Blu-Ray player
1. Turn on the power by pushing the power button. Button will be blue when unit is on.
2. Push the Doc cam button on the Crestron selector panel.
Wireless Connection- Solstice
1) Be sure to install the app on your device.
2) Select the Wireless on the crestron selector panel.
3) Type in the IP address that is shown. The device will attempt to connect to the Solstice device.
4) Once connected enter in the Key to complete the connection (This number change with each connection)
5) Solstice will inform you that it will start to capture everything that is displayed on your device. Tap start.
6) You are now sharing your device. When finished tap the disconnect on your device to stop sharing.
Mute image. Use the Display off on the Crestron selector panel to Mute the image DO NOT USE TO TURN OFF TV. USE REMOTE TO TURN OFF TV
MUTE use the Mute button on the Crestron selector panel to mute the sound.
VOLUME Use the Volume knob on the Crestron selector panel to control the volume in the room.
Please shut down the TV at the end of class!
Please turn off TV by turning off the power button on the TV remote.
