Podium Connection Instructions
Use the Silver remote to turn on the projector
Source Selection
- The only input that you will ever need to select on the silver remote is HDMI (#6).
- All switching of sources is done automatically or via your plugging in device.
TV
Mac desk top
1. Be sure the Mac is powered on
2. To get the image of the Mac to the TV be sure TV is tunrned on and the the TV input is on HDMI 1.
3. To get the image to Projector be sure the projector is turned on and the input is on HDMI.

VGA Laptop
- To use a laptop’s VGA connection, connect the provided VGA cable to your PC.
- Connect the mini audio cable to your PC head phone jack.
Be sure the audio is routed the headphone or external speaker.
NOTE VGA ONLY GOES TO PROJECTOR.
- Please remember to mirror your image by either pressing FN + F8 or
+ P ( Select mirror or Duplicate image). If these options do not work you might have to go to Graphic display options and may need further help. If so please contact us at the number below.
- Mac users click the Mac symbol
choose System Preferences. Choose displays click arrangement tab. In lower left corner of the Arrangement panel select “Mirror displays”
NOTE: If you do not have VGA you will need to get your own adapter. Click on the ADAPTERS link and you can see the different types of adapters that are available and will have to purchase.

**Macintosh laptops sometimes require an adapter to connect to either HDMI or VGA cables**
Solistice
Goes to TV only.

1) Push HDMI 2 input (on TV remote).
2) Select the correct input on the display device for the Solstice device. Once the correct input is selected you should see the image below.
3) Be sure the app is loaded for the device you are using. Follow the installation directions to install the app.
4) Be sure to put in a name for the device when prompted. Push Continue to go to the next step.
5) Tap the Enter IP tab
6) Enter the Ip address ( Use the Internal IP address. This address changes from room to room.)
7) After the Ip address is enter the device will attempt to connect to the Mersive device.
8) Once connected it will ask for the Key in order to complete the connection. Type in the Key that shows on the projection screen ( The Key changes with each connection).
9) The Solstice device will inform you that it will start capturing everything that is displayed on your phone. Tap the start now when ready.
10) Once you start the Solstice device it will give you a main screen to allow you to project to the screen.
11) When finished just click on the disconnect tab on the top to disconnect your device for the Solstice device.
Please shut down Projector at end of class
You will need to press the power button a second time to confirm shutdown.
