A firmware update for Dell USB-C Multiport Adapter model (DA310u / DA310z) may be needed to improve compatibility on Macs.

- Download the firmware update (version A02).
- Plug the USB-C adapter into your Windows computer.
- Run the update.
- The update will check the firmware version before allowing you to update.
- When the update is ready, click the checkbox and then click on Update.
- Do not unplug the adapter until it is finished. The process can take a minute or two.
- When finished, quit the updater and unplug the adapter.
- If you encounter any issues, close any running apps & disconnect peripherals and try again.
