BBH 123 Media systems Instructions (TV, Hitachi)

To use the BBH 123 Equipment, follow these steps:

1. Point the remote at TV.

2.  Press the power ON button (on remote) (RED Button).Wait 10 seconds. TV should come on.

3.  Push HDMI/PC on the remote. Input on the TV should be HDMI 2.

If it is not please push HDMI/PC button until TV says HMDI 2 on upper righ

3.  Push the ON/STANDBY button on the Hitachi (Light should go green)

4. Be sure Hitachi Output is showing WHDI output. If not remove the cover on the lower right and push WHDI for output. Please put cover back when finished.

Hitachi

 Make sure the receiver behind the TV located on the back and left of the TV is turned ON.  It should be a blue light.  If the light is not blue and is red Push the power button        on the receiver.

SELECT DEVICE:

• Desktop/ Podium laptop

1. PC-Press HDMI 3(on HITACHI)
2. Remember to turn on the computer and monitor on the podium.

•  Laptop using VGA cable.

1. Press Computer 2 (on HITACHI)

2. Connect the VGA cable located on the podium to your laptop.

• When connecting a laptop Please remember to mirror your image by either pressing FN + F8 or  + P (Select Mirror image).  If these options do not work you might have to go to Graphic display options and may need further help. If so contact us at the number below.
• Mac users click the Mac symbol  choose System Preferences. Choose displays click arrangement tab. In lower left corner of the Arrangement panel select “Mirror displays”

• NOTE: If you do not have a VGA or HDMI port you will need to get your own adapter. Click on the ADAPTERS link and you can see the different types of adapters that are available and will have to purchase.

  IF you need help finding the adapter you need to please set up a meeting with us and we will be happy to help you find the adapter you need

3. Connect the Mini audio cable to your headphone jack on your computer.

4. For Wired Internet connection plug in the Ethernet cable into your laptop.

                  6. Turn ON your Laptop.

        If you have a MAC, you will need your own adapter.

• Laptop using HDMI cable.

1. Connect the HDMI cable to your Laptop.

       2. Press HDMI 1 (on HITACHI)

       3. Turn ON your laptop.

 

• Volume Control is in the middle left of the remote.

1. Make sure the Volume on HITACHI is also up and not muted.
2. Be sure Remote is not muted as well.

Please Turn off TV at the end of class!   Please turn off any other units used!

• To turn off the TV, press the power button (on remote) (RED Button).
